Mario DaSilva Bio:
Born in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mario DaSilva grew up within a musical family. He started his own musical journey at the age of ten when his passion for the classical guitar began. Mario came to the United States in December of 1979 to further his musical studies, specializing in the areas of composition, arrangement and guitar. This passage led him to many accolades including a Master’s Degree with honors. His unique interpretations of songs by such artists as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Cole Porter, Hammerstein, James Taylor, Duke Ellington, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, and the Beatles invite you to relax and enjoy the journey.
