The 17th Floor Bio:
Its America’s BEST Hip-Rock and R&B cover band! Party like you have never partied before. They are not to just be seen or heard, but to be experienced!
Already considered to be party legends, The 17th Floor has astounded audiences with their remarkable blend of live hip-hop and R&B music. Solid musicianship, in-suppressible energy, tight choreography, and a strong commitment to entertaining their audiences have put this Chicago band on the map.
Their big break came when the female hip-hop group TLC stumbled upon one of their rehearsals in Atlanta. Needing a band for their upcoming tour, TLC hired them on the spot and, within a few short months, The 17th Floor went from performing at fraternity houses to 40,000-seat arenas. The 17th Floor shared the stage with such acts as TLC, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, and M.C. Hammer. After the completion of the TLC world tour, The 17th Floor jumped back into the smaller-venues better than ever! They continued touring college campuses even adding a tour of Japan and Taiwan.
The 17th Floor then returned to the United States hoping to embark on yet another national tour. They didn’t have to wait long. A young, up-and-coming R&B artist named Usher contacted The 17th Floor. He was very impressed with their work and wanted the band to assist with preparing for his upcoming tour. The band happily obliged by rehearsing with Usher for his “My Way” tour and appearing with him on the FOX Networks Keenan Ivory Wayans Show.
Now, firmly locked in as crowd favorites from Chicago to Destin to Atlanta to Dallas, The 17th Floor delivers a combination of radio hits and impressive originals in 200+ live performances dates a year. They’re Here… It’s Time… Get ready for The 17th Floor Experience!
