Ronnie Brown Bio:
From solo piano, duo, trio or quartet, Ronnie Brown offers you many musical styles, from jazz to pop and from adult contemporary to rhythm and blues. As a musician he has performed numerous times with artists on national television and has made many appearances as a pianist with Elizabeth Cook on the Grand Ole Opry.
Ronnie Brown is a producer, performer and industry executive. Recent accomplishments include producing songs that have appeared in Showtime’s “The Real L Word” and E! Entertainment’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”. His company, Next Century Music, has recently enjoyed publishing placements in MTV’s “Washington Heights” and the composition “Brothers” on the Greg Bates debut album on Universal / Republic.
Ronnie served as Vice President of Creative for Ten Ten Music Group, Inc 1998 – 2009. At Ten Ten he worked with award winning artists and songwriters Keith Urban, Harley Allen, Tia Sillers, Angela Kaset, Robert Ellis Orrall, Jon Robbin, Angaleena Presley, Odie Blackmon, Bobby Huff, Nicky Chinn, Troy Seals, Mike Dekle, Elizabeth Cook, and Cory Mayo. In 2003 Ronnie discovered and signed Angaleena Presley, of Miranda Lambert’s famed Pistol Annie’s. His direct efforts have led to major recordings by artists such as Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Gary Allan, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, John Michael Montgomery, Heidi Newfield, Gene Watson, and Ricky Skaggs. At Ten Ten he was responsible for overseeing all creative aspects, working with writers guiding them in their songwriting, development, and studio production.
Prior to Ten Ten Music Group, Ronnie worked for producer and record executive Tony Brown in the Artists and Repertoire Department at Universal / MCA. While at MCA, Ronnie worked with such superstars as George Strait, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, George Jones, Wynonna Judd, Joe Ely, David Lee Murphy, Jimmy Buffett, Mac McAnally, Lee Ann Womack, Gary Allan, Todd Snider, The Mavericks.
